Agreement and scope

By downloading, installing, purchasing, or using Pack, or by using this website, you agree to these terms. If you use Pack for an organization, you confirm that you are authorized to accept these terms for that organization.

Pack is distributed through Apple. The application license is governed by Apple’s Standard End User License Agreement and the applicable Apple Media Services terms. These Terms & Conditions cover additional matters concerning Pack, its website, support, purchases, and acceptable use. Mandatory consumer rights continue to apply.

Acceptable use

You may use Pack for lawful personal or commercial archive work. You remain responsible for the files you open, create, encrypt, split, share, or extract.

• Do not use Pack to violate law, intellectual-property rights, privacy rights, access controls, or contractual obligations.
• Do not use Pack to create, distribute, or conceal malware or other harmful material.
• Do not interfere with the application, website, App Store services, or another person’s device or data.
• Do not reverse engineer or modify Pack except where applicable law or an open-source license expressly permits it.

License and ownership

Pack is licensed, not sold. Subject to Apple’s Standard EULA and these terms, you receive a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use Pack on Apple devices you own or control, including use allowed through Family Sharing or volume purchasing where available.

Pack, its design, branding, website, and original software remain the property of the developer and licensors. Open-source components remain subject to their own licenses, which are identified on the Credits page and in the application bundle.

Pack Pro, subscriptions, and refunds

Pack may offer monthly, yearly, and lifetime Pack Pro purchases through Apple’s App Store. The price, currency, taxes, trial terms, billing period, renewal date, and available features shown by Apple at the time of purchase form part of your purchase terms.

Subscriptions renew automatically unless you cancel them in your Apple Account before renewal. Apple processes payment, cancellation, purchase restoration, and refund requests. A lifetime purchase unlocks the eligible Pack Pro features for the supported universal-purchase app record; it does not guarantee access to every future product or separate application.

Files, passwords, and backups

Archive formats have many variants. Files may be damaged, incomplete, misleadingly named, encrypted with unsupported methods, or produced by non-conforming tools. Pack cannot guarantee that every archive will open, extract, compress, encrypt, split, or recover successfully.

Keep independent backups of important files. Verify a newly created or extracted archive before deleting originals. You are responsible for remembering passwords and keeping recovery information secure; strong encryption may make data permanently inaccessible when a password is lost.

Privacy and local processing

Pack is designed to process supported archive operations on your device. The application does not require a Pack account and does not upload archive contents to a developer-operated archive service. Apple services, website hosting, and support email may process limited information as described in the Privacy Policy.

Apple services and third-party software

Pack relies on Apple platform services such as StoreKit, Keychain, system file pickers, Quick Look, Finder extensions, and optional on-device Foundation Models. Their availability depends on Apple, your device, operating-system version, region, settings, and account status.

Third-party and open-source components may be governed by separate license terms. You must comply with applicable third-party terms when using Pack with external files, storage providers, networks, or services.

Availability, updates, and changes

Pack may change, add, remove, or discontinue features to improve reliability, maintain compatibility, address security issues, or comply with law and App Store requirements. Updates may require a newer operating system or device capability.

These terms may also change. Material revisions will be identified by a new “Last updated” date. Continuing to use Pack after revised terms become effective means you accept the revised terms, except where applicable law requires another form of consent.

Disclaimers and limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Pack and this website are provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of uninterrupted operation, error-free output, universal format compatibility, or recovery of damaged or lost data.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, the developer is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, exemplary, or consequential loss, including loss of data, passwords, archives, business, revenue, or profits. Nothing in these terms limits liability or consumer rights that cannot legally be limited or excluded.

Termination, disputes, and contact

You may stop using Pack at any time. Your right to use Pack may end if you materially breach these terms or Apple’s applicable terms. Provisions concerning ownership, disclaimers, liability, and disputes survive termination where legally appropriate.

Any dispute is governed by the law and forum that apply under mandatory rules and Apple’s applicable terms. Nothing here removes a consumer’s right to use a court or dispute-resolution process available under mandatory local law. If one provision is unenforceable, the remaining provisions continue in effect.
